98 Z28 worth it?
98 Z28 worth it? Im buyin a 98 Z28 black auto ttop leather clean! Dash has a small crack and it has true forged wheels, it has 150k on it and true duals. Thats all i know so far... Im looking at it to decide for sure tonight. He wants $4k for it. Is it worth it or what?

That's a lot of miles! There are examples of well-maintained F-bodies hitting the 200k mileage mark but you better be real careful that this car won't be a $6,000+ car before you see 2011, then you will be stuck with a very high mileage car that you might be lucky to sell for $4,000 if you needed to do so. That would hurt! I would look further to be perfectly honest with you. For $2,000-$3,000 more you are talking about getting nice F-bodies with less than 100k miles and lots of life left in them. I know that is a lot more money for many but if you have to sink big $$ into a cheaper car then it really equals out. At this point, which one would you rather own and be able to sell one year from now? Good luck!
Well im selling my Lt1 today because im tired of working on it lol. So i need something to drive daily. Im getting something quite a bit faster and such soon. And im sure by the next moth or so if i have problems with it i will just yank the motor and go with a ls2 or something? lol
