Default 2000 Camaro SS Help

Hey guys I'm currently being offered a 2000 black Camaro SS. It is an auto with a targa top and 79000 miles on the clock. The price that they are asking is 11,000 I want to get some feed back if this is a good price. The car is in pristine condition considering the year. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Youd be the first person to own a 2000 SS with a targa top thats for sure. lol TTops is what you meant i guess. I think 9000 would be a better deal 11 is on the high side.

No, it is not a good price. $11,000 is too high. The above poster is right and even $9,000 is top $$ so make sure it doesn't need things. Even an 'excellent' condition 'private party' value in my zip code is less than $9,000. Not many cars fit in that excellent category. Check out www.kbb.com under 'private party' value for your zip code. There is no premium involved for a car with 79,000 miles. It is reasonably low mileage but nothing to add serious value. That would be reserved for a real find that perhaps had only 40,000 miles or less. Then you could pay an extra $2,000 if you loved the car, but not for this one. Good luck in your negotiations.
