I dont know where to start?
I dont know where to start? Hey guys, Im new to this site but ive creeped on the forums for months looking at lsx swaps and t56 swaps. This may be a little long, if so i apologize. Anyway Ill get to the point. I have no clue how much to sell my car for in this economy. Ive got a ton of money in the car, but I know Im not going to get what I put in it, hardly no one does.
Heres the basics: The car is a 1987 Firebird GTA T/A, has a 383 stroker engine that makes 365HP and 427tq at the wheels (before it was tuned), has a t56 trans and an 02 ls1 rear end 3.42 LSD.
The engine is a 383 stroker with a forged rotating assembly, 1 piece rear main seal, 1.6 roller rockers, PBM aluminum heads, mini starter, performer RPM intake, 750 Double Pumper carb. Of course theres more, but thats the basics. The car dynoed at 365HP and 427TQ to the wheels. They estimated that the engine makes over 425HP and 500TQ at the crank. Here are the specifics:
383 6.3 motor. 350 bored .040 over. 3.75” stroke crank.
PBM Aluminum Heads, 220cc runners 2.02 and 1.60 valves 58cc chambers
Comp camshaft 510/520 lift 230/236 Duration 112 LSA
Speed pro coated pistons
Eagle I beams
MLS head gaskets
PBM 1.6 Roller rockers
edelbrock performer rpm intake
750 Holley double pumper 750 w/ proform mainbody and 4 corner idle

The car itself has alot of suspension upgrades, new 3" exhaust fitted for the longtube headers. Interior isnt perfect, but not bad at all. Has autometer oil pressure,water temp, volts, and fuel level gauges. Speedometer dosent work because of the T56 swap, but tach works perfectly. Has 5 point harness, subframes by bmr and lots of small things such as that. Like i said there is much more, but just too many things to list. Ill try to post a pic of the car if possible.

One idea is to put it on ebay (first 4 listings are free for most members) but put a reserve on it. Make it a 'high' reserve but don't disclose it to anyone, even if asked. See where the bidding goes and you might get an idea what the market will bear for your car. No harm in trying if the listing is free.
