Default Pricing Question

Ok, so I live in Kansas and am needing to move on to a pickup truck to deal with the weather and such. I own a 2000 SS pewter colored with a 6 speed. I would call the car excellent condition mechanically, interior, and exterior wise. It is fairly stock the only addons are a cat-back, slp lid, and some stereo and stealth sub box work. What kind of price do you guys think one should ask for it?

Wow I apologize I had a brainfart. it has 75k miles on it, the tires are 80%. It has had 1 previous adult owner other than myself. The title and carfax are clean and it does have maintenance records.

Hmmm, 75,000 miles and excellent condition are rare combinations. Everything certainly sounds good though and you should be in line with what www.kbb.com 'private party' value states. In my zip code it would be worth in the $8,200 -$8,600 area. I would ask $9,000+ to leave some room for negotiation. If the car really is as nice as you state, then perhaps you can get your asking price when the person actually comes to see it.
