I can see that car sitting on a dealer lot for $16,000 - $18,000 if truly near MINT. A fine purchase for a buyer looking for exactly what is being offered. It is always 'worth' what you paid for it unless it was some crazy out of line price for a 38,000 mile car, like $25,000 or something similar. A nice low mileage hopefully non-abused car is 'worth' a lot! Selling these cars is a different matter as you have to find that certain buyer that will appreciate that type of car. My very low mileage (22,000 miles) '01 T/A vert is worth every penny of $20,000 but if I had to sell in a hurry I would be lucky to get $15,000. Hopefully this analogy is what you are looking for since you just bought the car. Enjoy it and if you got a 'steal' in the process, good for you.

I just bought a 2002 WS6 M6, leather, all the goods with 19k miles on it. My credit union would loan up to $17500.00. The window sticker says $32,700.00 I bought the car for substantially less. I would guess my car is worth 17K on the open market. It is spotless and completely stock. But, in the end, they are only worth what someone is willing to give. I would hope the NADA books are accurate. These cars are all over the place with 40k miles for 15-19K. There is one on ebay right now with 6k miles for $28K. I doubt he will get that but for sure it should be worth 20k.
