Default Am I asking to much?

I have a 1995 Trans Am. It is a hard top car and have a 6 speed. It has a fiberglass ram air hood and matching ram air intake and K&N intake. Internally it is stock but did have a valve job and oil pan gasket replaced by previous owner back in 09. Has a new replacement clutch. Also has a flowmaster muffler welded in. Car is black on ebony cloth. Interior is really clean, previous owner had plastic down to keep debris out. Has 133xxx miles.

Does need an a/c compressor, either a new fly wheel or the old one resurfaced, doesnt need a new fuel pump but the relief valve is messed up so it takes about 5 secs to start on a hot start, also the clear is peeling on the hard top and the front bumper is scrapped pretty bad from the previous owner. It doesnt come with the Z06 wheels in the pic but does come with the chrome Trans Am wheels in the other pic.

I was originally asking $5500 but since then I have dropped my price to $4500. Am I still asking to much?

Yes, it is too high with those miles and some issues to be addressed. Look at it from the buyer's perspective. If someone bought it for $4,500 he would still have to put some good $$ into the car, not even counting the registration, taxes, etc. You are eliminating many buyers with the a/c problem alone, and then others with the remaining issues. What else does the car need? Tires, brakes, fluids etc.. Clutch and tranny OK?? Not sure many F-body people would want to have $6,000+ into this high mileage LT1 by the time 2012 rolls around as you're now talking 1998+ LS1 pricing territory. The new buyer wouldn't get anything close to this money if they had to sell and would be in the same situation as you are now. Hope this explains things a bit. While the engine may still have many miles left in it, the rest of the car is close to having lived out it's life. Maybe someone will give you a few grand for it but to expect more is wishful thinking. GLWS!!

There's a guy who's not far from me wanting to trade an 06 stretched busa with 13xxx miles straight up. I don't need or want a bike right now ( kid on the way). I'm thinking I could get close to 8 out of the busa. Should I?

That guy is an idiot if the Hayabusa is in good mechanical shape. I'd take it if I were you.

Jump on that Busa, even if the guy wants a little cash. Unless it has been dropped a dozen times, it's worth at least twice what your car is worth. $3,500 would be a better asking for your car. $2,800 - $3,000 would be a realistic sell price.
