98 z28 Trying to find a route to go on my 98 Z28. It is silver with gray cloth interior. Exterior is done up to look like an SS complete with aftermarket ss fiberglass hood and spoiler and emblems. Overall car looks real clean. Bad thing is I let the ex girlfriend use it for a bit and she ran it low on oil so now engine is knocking. Not sure what happen, spun bearing, rod, IDK? but it is an LS1 with a 6 speed trans. It is a complete car thats been sitting since July. I also have a complete set of ebony leather seats with the door panels that would go along with car. I was going to buy an engine and install, but with me working like I do I don't have enough time to install. Would like some feedback on what I could ask for the car. Don't want to part the car out, but sell as a whole. Thanks

Exact mileage isn't necessary. The 90,000 is close enough. With the engine in 'unknown' condition you really have to think your Z28 is in 'fair' condition even though it seems nicer than that. For pricing however you have to think that way. In my zip code (probably yours too in SC), KBB www.kbb.com indicates a private party 'fair' condition car should sell for about $5,000. Sounds about right to me unless the engine is absolutely ruined and requires major work. Ask $5,000 anyway and see if you get any nibbles. If nothing, lower your price until the phone starts ringing, then you know you have hit the right price point. Do it in $500 increments like $4,500, then $4,000, etc.. Best of luck!!
