Default New OEM SS Hood

I have a brand new SS hood still in the original GM box? They were discontinued years ago.

Whats it worth?

At least $1,500 I would think. Probably more if patient. Used ones are expensive, even the damaged ones. Have you researched it at all?? I came across these doing a quick search. You have a very valuable hood there.

List price for it was $1806 back in 2002 when I bought mine. I've been doing some research and have found that most of the after-market look-alikes are crap.

I've also got a new GM SS spoiler still in the box as well as the third brake light for it.

Someone could make a nice SS Tribute car with the parts I have. And the best part is, its all new GM stuff.

Wow! Some serious $$ back in '02. You are sitting on some very desireable items that will really go up in value over the years. Probably too early to make a big profit right now but you never know unless you try.
Makes you realize that the 'parts' on these cars are really worth some money, especially if undamaged. Those ebay asking prices were quite eye-opening.

My sister paid $500 for hers 4 years ago. It wasn't in the box...but it was new with no damage.

I'd assume right now I'd put $1200 on it and wouldn't take less than $800.

That's just me though, the economy in Ky sucks btw.

Check out prices on some of the 1967-69 Camaro "Desirable" new parts. BIG $$ if you can even find them!

If it wasn't in the original box, how did you know it was GM?
