Default Chrome 98 Wheels and Like New Tires

Wheels are 16 inch chrome 5 spokes, in great shape. very few flaws, tires are almost brand new. Just got new vette wheels that need tires and was wondering what I should ask for these

Depends where the flaws are. If on the inside of the wheels it means almost nothing, but if on the visible chrome it matters a great deal no matter how minor. Near perfect no flaws 16" chrome wheels have brought up to $400 in the past. The 17" always commands more attention and money.
In ref to the tires, what kind of tires? Goodyear GS-D3 that cost $800 when new or cheap mongrels at $500 per set? How much tread is left? What is the date code?? All are important to know. If the tires are 6+ years old, forget it. Every manufacturer states on their sites to dump them no matter how much tread is left. People can argue with this all they want but it is a losing battle when selling. If you have near perfect, 90% tread, 2 or 3 year old 'brand name' tires, I don't see why you can't get 50% of their original value. Remember from the buyer's perspective that they still have to add on at least $100 for shipping.
Provide more detailed info if you need more precise pricing. GLWS!!
