$12,000 is too optimistic IMO despite all the money you have put into it. The buying market for your car, even in a large city like Atlanta, is limited. No harm in asking that $12,000 especially with 'trade' options, but $10,500 - $11,000 may be absolute top $$. You should definitely not have to settle for less than $9,000. It would be a shame if no intersted parties were at that price level. Price guides are on the lower side of this equation, and whether you agree or not, many buyers do look at them. GLWS!
