C5 Five Spoke Wheels Hey guys I have a local guy selling his silver stock C5 rims I believe their magnesium since their original GM wheels 18x10.5 in the rear 17x9.5 in the front their the five spoke style in good condition some minor curb rash nothing major i knw not the best looking wheel style or the ones I wanted but I got them down to $300.00 for the set so its a good buy??? Since their GM factory corvette rims I ca.buy them and get my money back or how much are they worth??

It really depends. If the wheels are not bent and 'ready to mount' then $300 IS A VERY GOOD PRICE if you don't mind the curb rash. As far as re-selling, the same holds true. A person looking for 'show quality' wheels will not contact you but someone that isn't too fussy might LOVE the wheels to replace what they currently own for that same $300. Many variables. If one of the wheels is not ready for mounting (bent or damaged) you are talking about $200 minimum to get the one wheel repaired or refurbished. All of a sudden that $300 is $500. Look carefully!

Well I was going to powdercoat them so they look like new but the only reason I'm considering them is just from the perfomance point of view since GM wheels are lighter than most aftermarket wheels
