Default Is this T/A worth $14,000?

Alright so im looking into buying a red 2000 Trans Am from my grandfathers ex wife. To start off about the car, it has between 65-70,000 miles, all stock just your basic T/A. The car has not been driven in about a year and a half, its sitting on weather rotted tires and out in the sun. I know for a fact it hasnt been driven hard by her. But the interior is a 7 out 10 IMO. I wish i had pictures but I wont be able to get pics till tomorrow maybe. i drive by it all the time and smh. so i decided to try to buy and not let it rot away but for a reasonable price. I was thinking along the lines of $10,000 because i browse around on craigslist and see WS6's go for 10k or more with better paint jobs,6speed, good tires, low miles, ect.... And this car is defenitly not a WS6 with a 6-speed. What is everyones opinion?

Ill try to get pics tomorrow on here

I personally would say it isn't worth that price at all. I suppose it depends on what you want and what you want to do with it as well.

Sounds like a decent find but not worth near $14K especially if it's been sitting for a while

Thats what im thinking. Its not worth 14k. If im going to pay that i might as well buy a used c5 corvette. 10 would be the most i will pay. sorry i couldnt get pics of it :/

It is definitely not worth 14k in any form. If it has been sitting in the sun are the interior and paint cracked?

Since it has been sitting, you need to do some maintenance before starting it, new tires cost $$ for a decent brand, and if the paint is screwed, then $$$$.

Make sure you really look it over before purchasing it. If it is poor condition, then 10k is insane, doesn't matter what the mileage is.

I bought mine with 67000 miles all stock and paid $7800. $14000 is way too high!

I think I beat all of you as far as getting a deal. A couple weeks ago I bought a 2002 WS6 with ws9 package, hurst edition, ttops, 6 spd, black leather, mint condition, 23k miles, $12,000. the thing books for 19.5, and I love the car. nothing compares!
