Wrecked 02 Silver SS I'm looking at getting an 02 SS with a salvage title that I want to use the drivetrain and other parts for another 4th gen project.
It was hit in the RF after the previous owner clipped a larger pick up and took out the RF fender and upper frame rail but the left side is fine. The car is in real good condition other than that. The black leather interior is good- 8 outta 10 and only missing the pass. seat and console lid. Its also missing the the SS spoiler and the hood is damaged but the chrome ZR1's wheels are good. The drive train is undamaged and the car starts and runs just fine, the motor and auto trans have about 112k miles on them plus all the electrical stuff works (fully loaded). Oh yeah it has a BBK intake too...
Just looking for any thoughts out there on the value and/or what to offer as a fair price?

Thanks for the replies, thats about what i was guessing- $3K-ish. On a side note, what would the drop-out drive train fetch for the ls1, auto trans set up? I might just end up parting it out.
I think a good running LS1 with an intake and 112k would go for more than $1500 even by itself. Drivetrain of that car is worth what you'd pay for the whole thing, and then you can always sell the rest of the car in pieces, you should re-coup a good junk of your investment.

Thanks again for the replies. I also discovered it had LT coated header too so I will probably get what I need off of it and if my other deal for a roller falls apart then I will part out the car and sell the drive train.
