01 ws6 a4
01 ws6 a4 Im looking at getting a second WS6 for a race car project. The one im looking at is an 01 A4 ws6 with 153k miles. It has Torque Thrust M wheels that look new with new tires (id sell these immediately) The body is straight but the paint is showing the typical signs of its age. Both the driver and passenger side seats are tore and blistered but the rest of the interior looks like it is in pretty good shape. It is stock other then an unknown catback but the car is dry underneath and not caked with oil. It seems to run smooth and drives straight. He is asking 5k but im thinking about offering 4. Opinions? Is 4 a lowball offer?

I'd do the same. Do the 4k in person though with say up to $4,600 in your pocket and see what happens. The good thing is that you can always sell those rims and tires for nice money.
I offered him four expecting him to counter in the 4500 range which he did. I'll most likely be selling the wheels and tires soon depending on how the may look on my SOM.
