Default 1997 30th Anniversary SS

Well this car has been my project for the last 6 months and I've dumped a ton of money into it. My wife is expecting this July and we are considering becoming a 1 Fbody family. Located in Orlando, Florida.

1997 30th SS, Hardtop, White Leather, 6 Speed. 70K on Chassis, 0 miles on new Engine.

957 Total 30th SS Cars produced, fewer with the Hardtop.
SLP Options were the Performance 3" exhaust and Hurst Shifter.

Brand New Parts:
- 355 LT1 Engine with Crane 50 state legal cam (218/218 .498/.498 116 LSA), new GM timing set. Built by National Cylinder Head Exchange and includes a 3 year warranty. Expected Power is 310 RWHP/325 RWTQ and sound stock, minus a nice exhaust.
- New Pistons, Polished Crank, New Rods, New Bearings.
- Stock heads completely redone, new valves, new competition springs/retainers (.570 lift) 3 angle valve job, new pushrods.
- New Oilpan, New Oil Hi-flow Oil Pump and Pick up.
- New 1 3/4" Kooks Long Tube Headers with Hi-Flow Catted Y-pipe
- New GM replacement Opti-spark and MSD Wires
- New SLP SS Car cover
- UMI Short stick for Hurst Shifter
- A/C Recharged
- Hi Flow Air Filter

Interior is very nice with the typical wear to the drivers seat side bolster. Includes SS Floormats, an aftermarket Panhard Bar and a Mail Order Tune.

- 275/40 17 Tires have less than 500 miles of use.

Thanks.

Looks like a well cared for ride! Very nice.
This is going to be a tough sell for decent money. I know it hurts with all the money you have put into it. Unfortunately, the collector value is gone. Completely gone. Not only are the miles too high for most collectors but the engine change and mods totally rule out that 'collector' factor. So what do you have left? Apparently a well cared for car with a new engine which will appeal to many younger buyers looking for a sweet ride that will last them for several years, at the very least. Now you have to price it within their financial grasp. This buyer's market you are looking at has the least amount of money to spend. I would ask $9,500 and hope for the best. I know this puts you in direct competition with all the LS1 cars with similar mileage but someone may look at from the vantage point I earlier explained, especially a buyer looking for something 'different'. If no interest at $9,500, start lowering in $500 increments until you get some interest.
Best of luck to you and your family.
