I'm far from an expert but I'd say $300-400. I just bought an 01 ls1 long block and I'm having it magnafluxed then putting it back together with upgrades if it checks out. That all cost $ and with the deals on ebay and such it's easier to go that route for most people especially with warranties. In Nebraska ls1 engines probably aren't as plentiful as in SW Florida and may demand a higher price. Post it high and lower it til it sells.
