2001 Trans Am WS6 A4 118k miles. Runs great

Just curious a round about number. Haven't been in ws6 market in about a year. Thank you

Stock or modded? How many owners? It matters. A one owner 'stock' highway miles car could be a real decent car. A five owner modded F-body last owned by a kid, who nailed it every red light, could be a real gamble and poor choice.
Book value is going to be around $8,000 - $9,000 most likely but personally I would never recommend or pay a dime over $8,000 for an F-body with over 100,000 miles on the odometer. Even if in good condition like you say, any car with that mileage will probably need repairs sooner than later. Let's say you need to put a few grand into the car within the first year or two. Buying the car for $8,000 or less and then being at $10,000 total wouldn't be too bad overall, but do you really want to be into the car for much more than that? It's still an $8,000 or less car if you need to sell and if you can find a buyer. The car will have even more mileage. Just something to consider. If this one doesn't work out, good luck with your search!

$8000 for that car in this market at this time of year is still too much, especially with 100k+ miles and being an automatic. There are plenty of sub-100k F-bodies on the market right now for that much and less.
