Default 2001 Trans Am WS6 m6

Hello,

I have accepted a job in Indiana, and will be moving away from Los Angeles in 6 weeks. Would prefer to sell my remaining car first though, just sold my z28 on Sunday. Would like to know what you guys think is a fair selling price for a relatively quick sale. I am willing to negotiate with buyers, sold my z28 in 1 day, but it was worth considerably less than the ws6. Won't sell it for way below a fair price though. Either ship it out there once I buy a home, or store it at my parents house and continue trying to sell.

So on to the specs:

2001 Trans Am WS6

M6 transmission rebuilt professionally with stage 2 upgrade, Monster Stage 3 clutch, new slave and Tick speed bleeder - less than 4k miles ago

Repainted ~1 year ago, always garage kept - I drive it under 2000 mi/yr

75.5k miles on odometer

Fully loaded - ebony leather interior, power everything, t-tops (Driver side seat is quite worn in the usual spot, but not torn open)

Mickey Thompson ET Streets in back and Hankook tires in front, less than 3k miles on each and tons of life left.

Drives great, good power. Every shift is effortless.

Mods:

Should be a bit over 400rwhp/rwtq - was tuned properly but I bought it with all this installed already
Texas Speed T2 Cam
Edelbrock Stepped 1 3/4- 1 7/8 headers
Hotchkis Lowering Springs
Hotchkis Sub Frame Connectors
Drilled and slotted rotors front and back
Lou's Short throw shifter w/ factory Hurst Shift ****
Custom fabricated dual exhaust - cats have been removed
Other minor stuff

Bad:

Sail panel bubbles (see pic)

Won't pass CA smog - I can get it done before being sold if need be though, but will tell buyer it won't pass without help

Let me know if I'm missing some important info. Thanks!

Those bubbles are just brutal!! Your honesty in describing this situation is very refreshing though, along with the fact that the car won't pass inspection. I am confused about the re-paint though. Did those bubbles re-appear that quick in just one year?
Personally I'm of the opinion that you may miss these F-bodies once your move is complete. You obviously enjoy them if you had two at once. You might think about transporting this one to your new home, especially since you have a place where you can keep it temporarily. That is the key here. No offense, but this isn't a high dollar car so an open transport carrier could be used and you would have your car in your new driveway for about $700 - $800 whenever you are ready for it.
If you are tired of the car and want to sell quick, just use the local KBB values and price it right. Whether people like KBB or not, it is often referred to by buyers, especially for cars like this (mods and some issues), and very few will pay over. In my area, this car might sell in the $8,000 - $8,500 price range considering the paint and emissions situation. It may not even bring that much to be truthful. CA may be higher priced but I wouldn't expect too much higher in a 'private party' sale.
Best of luck with your move and decision on the WS6!

Thx for the reply. Yea, I was hoping the bubbles would stay away at least a year. Seriously, within 3 weeks they started reappearing. . Pissed me off looking at my beater '98's perfect sail panel.

Guess I'll just throw a somewhat wishful price up, see what kind of offers I get, and drop it accordingly. Have grown exhausted of F-bodies now. Ready for a C6 z06, or something entirely different.
