Salvage title 97 WS6 What ya guys think a salvage title 97 T/A Ws6 with 10k is worth? book is 8800 or so, I'm thinking its worth 6ish, no mods 2nd owner, salvage title since new, issue with car carrier, this guys owned 7 yrs with no issues
It All depends on why it was salvaged and how it was repaired to make it road worthy again.
FYI, the insurance will only give you up to 75% of book value on a vehicle with a salvage title if it has full coverage so take that into consideration as well.

A salvage title means the damage was severe enough for the insurance company to consider it a total loss, not worth the cost of repair. If it was a new never titled car when this happened it must have been some major damage.
Basicly salvage title cars have very little value. It does depend on the damage that was initially received. One of the problems is once you own it might be very difficult to sell.
One problem with a vehicle that has bee wrecked is you can straighten the metal but it will never have the strength that it had prior to the damage. This puts you at a greater risk if you are in a wreck.
This is a pre LS1 vehicle, and it has a salvage title so I wouldn't place a value of over $2000.00 on it. IF you check craigslist or the ads here you can find newer cars for the same or less than the asking of this car.
