2001 SOM Formula ws6 clone value?
My brother is about to trade in his car. It does have some issues. The cats are bad and the ABS or traction control system has an issue. Paint is not perfect. The car just needs some attention.
Its a cool car. 2001 SOM Firebird Formula with im guessing 125k miles. Ws6 hood and wheels. 6 speed. Lowered and catback are the only mods.
I think the dealer is going to hose him. What is the value of this car for private party?
Sorry i dont have a current picture. Hes a couple states over.

$5,000 "private party' on a good day for a 'fair condition' Formula with those miles.
Actually a 'trade-in' might be the way to go for your brother. My zip code shows a value of about $3,500 and depending on the type car he wants to buy he might get even more as there is more room to 'dicker'. Example: If buying a $15,000 or more expensive car the dealer will possibly up that 'trade-in' to $4,000 or $4,500 to get the deal done. That would save your brother the pain of selling a 'fair' condition car and the headaches associated with it.
