What is this 01 SS worth (4700 miles)
Very limited description. But I think a mint 5K mile '01 and '02 6 speeds are in the $16's with it basically needing nothing. This could need new tires for starters. It would have to a bit more special to be worth $17K. The hood is modified with a decal or paint. Anything else modified?
"Fully loaded" from SLP in 2001 could include 10 spoke or ZR1 chrome wheels, DD or CME performance exhaust, Auburn, Bilstein, 1LE, grille, key Fobs, mats, car cover, etc. Some of these would add significant value. I'd add another $1500-$2000 for chrome wheels, perf exhaust, Bilstein, and grille.

Tires are good, needs nothing. Only other mod is a slp air box (not slp installed).
Slp options include DD exhaust, chrome zr1's, grille, and car cover.
Would it hurt the car to add Bilstein's, springs, and headers?
Thanks

I note that a 2002 White M6 SS with 9K miles sold for $16,100 on Ebay (no SLP options). It had been up a few times realizing near that amount. Your DD, zr1's, grille and lower mileage probably add $500-$1,000 more value than a higher model year (ie 2002). So $17,000 might be about right. But, I'd bet the car is buyable closer to $16K.

I don't think those would hurt, might actually help (fresh springs, fresh shocks, and more hp via headers). While some of the "stock only" buyers might not approve and pass on the car, its already got the altered white striped hood....and hopefully that's just a decal and easily removable if desired. I'd add the headers last to see if you like the car with the simplest of upgrades first. Still has the stock shifter? The seller looks like a racing enthusiast. They've must have done more to the car.

Shifter is a factory installed Hurst. The seller has a built z this one just stays in garage. Nothing more done to the car. Has original window sticker, slp sticker , and purchase receipt if that matters.
Can you still buy slp options such as key fobs etc..
What are your thoughtz about a procharger?
Vehicle would be a 800 mile a year car if that...

I could think of many cars better suited for a procharger than a 4K mile 1 owner 2001 SS.....like an already modified 15K-55K mile car. An ultra low miles mint car will see much more depreciation with a pro charger than a lesser car. But, if that's what you want....then go for it. It will be your car.
