I'm thinking about selling my 1996 Camaro SS. It's black, hardtop, 6 speed, 127K miles, and all stock. What's it worth?

 

They're not worth as much as they should be, imo. Here in SoCal they get listed for just under ten thousand $s and I found a 1996 Z28SS that the owner was asking 3k for because he couldn't get it running. I was very sad that I didn't have 3k at the time...

 

I have had mine up for a few weeks now on various sites for between $5500-$6000. Havent had a phone call yet. I have seen one on ebay with mid 100K miles for sale for like a month for like $6000 and it honestly looks like a pretty clean example compared to most I see listed.

Unless its a low mile, super clean car I honestly have not seen them selling very much even in the $5-6k price range and I watch these cars daily. Honestly to get a sale in a decent time frame I think you would have to be in the $4000-5000 price range which is basically giving the car away at that point. It truly is a shame how worthless these cars are goes to show that rare =/= valuable.
