Default ls1 and 6 speed pull out, is this price to high?

Hey guys thought I would ask quick. I saw a guy selling his pull out ls1 with the 6 speed, complete from intake to pan, aside from harness for 4,500. This was out of a 100k mile GTO, is this to much?

IMO yes, too high for the mileage, not unless it's a freshly rebuilt trans with a newish aftermarket good clutch.....then again I bought a complete LS1 for $250 so my opinion is biased on the cheap side...

Bout 1500 too high in my humble opinion.

Remember though that just a GTO trans is going to cost more than a dime-a-dozen fBody. If a GTO specific package is what you need the oil pan for instance is different too. I don't think that price sounds out of the question if it's in good condition.

I paid 5 a year and half ago for a GTO LS1/T56 but had computer, harness and all pedals. Had 67k miles. Nestled between the rails of my '68 ragtop Camaro now!

LOVE IT.

Everybody seems to find a deal . . . well at least it looks like it. I think if you polled around you'll find the average LS1 buyer paid a lot more for a run of the mill LS1 than the deals that occasionally come around.
