2002 Camaro Z28 - Mint
Where you live is another thing that can affect price. Rainy northwest US or sunny Arizona or Florida?? You mentioned 'never seen snow' so that might indicate a northern car where demand can be lighter for verts. One important thing you left out is the tranny. Manual or auto?? A manual might bring even more $$$ since there are fewer in existence. It all depends who is looking at any given time. Also the tires. I know you said 500 miles but if the date code is 6 years ago, that's not a plus. It means new tires for the new owner at $600+ to start.
Hope this gives you an idea. If you can fill us in a bit more we can comment further.
The Monterey Maroon doesn't appear on the SS's. That's Z28 only. So you have a low production color, that while not of the impact of SOM, or Blue Gulf, etc, it should carry a nice premium nonetheless. If I were in the hunt, I'd rather pay an extra $1K for that color knowing I have something quite scarce. The 2002 M6 Z28 has only 22 built in that color, and 111 automatics. So the M6 is the most desirable. Generally speaking, finding a 2002 MM Z28 in coupe or vert, is about as scarce as a 2002 SOM SS. MM seems to fly under the radar. When looking at for sale ads I rarely see the MM any more though plenty of SOM's. A number of SOM SS's were probably put away early on. I'd bet a lot of MM Z28's just got run into the ground as nothing special.
If you have the M6 in MM, that to me would be worth nearly the same as an SS vert in say red. $1,000 premium imo. Maybe most enthusiasts would want the "cooler" looking SS. The Z28 would essentially identical performance. If someone is looking for a fun cruiser vert with low miles, an 2002 MM Z28 certainly fits the bill. I've never MM in person. Z28's got that color from 1999-2002.
