99 WS6 with 146k miles
Car is a 99 WS6 6 speed with 146k miles on it. It is super clean minus door cracks, roof bubbling, and some oxidizing on the wheels. Has an extensive service history and most wearable parts replaced in the last few years. Undercarriage is mint and it has a clean carfax. I had a WS6 new back in 01 and it rides/drives like new.
The market on these seems to really be shifting so I'm not sure what it's worth.
How else do you explain this?
A 2002 WS6 6-speed with 27,000 miles, one owner $16,950.00

Down the road, a 1999 WS6 6-speed with 61,000 miles, one owner, $18,500.00

They are not the same car. A 2002 has more updates, is more desirable due to the last year, and has much less miles.

I explain that as one seller who is a dreamer with no chance of selling anywhere near their asking price....typical for 50-80% of all ads. The guy with the 2002 is at least in the ball park and seems interested in actually selling their car. A 2002 WS6 M6 with 20K-29K miles has been in that general price range for the past 4 years. The 1999's are probably fully depreciated now though you'd never guess that by the asking price above. The difference between those 3 model years (1999 vs. 2002) has been about a 20% price difference over the past 4 years...$2500 to $3000 on a lower mileage car and $1500-$2000 on a high mileage one. Probably half of that difference is due to buyers perception of the added "improvements" on the 2001-2002 cars vs the 1998-2000's...not all enthusiasts would agree on that. The other half is just due to the price guides valuing a newer model year more highly.
