Forged LS3
I just did my engine. I forged everything but the stock crankshaft, it was bored ten over. and has about 40 miles on it.The clearances are incorrect, so as it is it has low oil pressure when its warm. Anybody that buys this will need to redo the clearances and I would change the bearings, just to be safe. With stock heads, compression is about 9.3:1 with the pistons that I have.
CP pistons
Callies compstar rods
ACI coated race bearings
Durabond cam bearings
arp head studs
arp cam bolts
arp balancer bolt
arp main studs
GM high volume oil pump with high pressure spring
ls2 damper
c5r timing chain
new front and rear cover seals
new oil pan gasket
cadillac racing lifters
I am not sure what to ask, considering, the motor will need to be reassembled, and possibly new bearings. 2600 in new parts plus the value of the stock crank, and block.
Any thoughts?
