Default 2002 Z28 Camaro A4

Trying to figure out if I have car priced appropriately. It's a 2002 Z28 A4 with just over 130k. Cars in really good shape mechanically, no issues there. Has replica c5 z06 rims (black) and new tires (only 1k miles them). Only mods are a SLP lid and flowmaster exhaust.

Dash is in good shape, has some discoloration on the door panels, and the paint is 5-6 out of 10. Could use a paint job. Besides that it's in tip top.

More Pics of the car are in the link. I have it listed currently for $7500.

The description of the paint between this WIW thread and your ad is quite a bit different. 5-6 "could use a paint job" vs. a 7 of 10 that "looks amazing" at 5-10 ft. Whatever is more accurate is what I would advertise. "Needs nothing" is not something I'd ever consider putting in an ad for a 130K mile car. For instance if the car is still on the original suspension, it might need something right away. Nice to see that the front seat isn't ripped up which would be normal for this mileage.

Car does look pretty clean for that mileage. And the higher of KBB/NADA in your area shouldn't be more than 5-10% off. $7500 sounds high to me for that mileage and it not being an SS. But doesn't hurt to start out high and take offers. Might end up being a $5.5K-$6.5K car in the end. But you never know. I just think at $7500 you will scare away some buyers and it's unlikely to sell at that number. I know of some really stunning cars in the 90K mile range have traded hands on here in the past few years and they really did need nothing going for $8,000 or so.

These are not all that hard to locate in decent condition. In my area, I'd sort of expect to find a 60K-80K mile Z28 A4 for $7500, maybe even less $$. Other members have done quite well finding bargains out there....such as $9K for a 1999 Firehawk with 40K miles. They pop up more often than you'd think.

NC01TA knows the North Carolina LS1 market like the back of his hand. He'll nail it for you.

The front bumper cover is a different color than the body and the front ground effects are off the car in a couple of the pictures, which tells me that something probably happened to the front end.

Realistically, that would be around a $6500 car at best if it did not need any paint work. Plus this time of year is a really bad time to try and sell a car like that for top dollar. I'd say you are looking at about a $5000 real-world sale price when the market is more favorable in the spring.
