1999 WS6 M6 mostly stock
Hey all, looking to see what my car is worth. 1999 WS6 M6, 175,000 miles. It's pretty stock except I added an electric cut-out valve and disabled CAGS. Multiple owners, not sure exactly without checking the carfax, but at least 3, maybe 4. I've owned it since 2006. I've replaced quite a bit on it as parts have failed over the years. Currently needs new shocks front and rear. Will need new brakes at some point this year. Paint needs some work for sure. Pictures are just after a wash so it looks better than normal. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.

Value is in the eye of the beholder. A few weeks ago I paid $4500 in cash for an 02 Z28 with 239,000 miles on it. The car had an almost perfect interior. The factory rims were almost mint with no curb rash. Paint was excellent. Car had been in two minor accidents. The car had the last 13 years of dealer maintenance records available. Condition was a true outstanding. In the two months the car had been sitting at a major dealership up for sale and liared on a several sites there had been exactly one inquiry and low ball offer on the car. Most people are unjustly terrified of an American/Canadian car with more than 100,000 miles.
With that recent background, I think your car detailed and cleaned up is a $7,500 car sitting on a used car lot where they do the financing. Selling privately and getting cash without a loan, the WS6 is a $5,500 car. A parent buy for the teenager in most cases or an adult that knows 175,000 miles isn't a big deal for a well cared for LS. Trade on value is very low because the dealer will want to steal it and wholesale so the car ends up on a tote the banknote/buy here/pay here/ stop and get robbed lot. Trade in $2400 or less.
Just my .02 cents worth.
BTW the factory WS6 hood is probably worth $850 to $1000
