Thinking of selling. 2001 WS6 Trans Am
post it on ls1 marketplace I am sure someone will buy it.
It's been garaged for several years because it stated blowing fuses with the fuel pump. It needed the updated wire harness. I purchased the fuel pump and wire harness but hadn't got around to replacing them. I then retired and bought an RV and got a new grandson and my priorities changed. I finally changed the wire harness, fuel pump, put a new power steering pump and alternator in and am getting a battery. I just wanted to know what I should be asking for. I would like to find someone who would appreciate it as much as I have. The 408 I put in was a little nostalgic. I was going for a tribute 6.6 liter.
edit:
forgot to mention. interior is in excellent condition. No rips or tears. Exterior, no dents or accidents but the paint is a little tired, it needs a good wax and buff. It will need tires and brakes. It also has the factory cd disc changer in the trunk and upgraded speakers. The AC worked when it ran last. It has high mileage, but it was cared for and garaged.
black on black T/A..lol

Can you get $8,000 for it? Maybe??? It will sell to someone that can work on the car themselves versus someone that needs to take it to a shop every time, like me. I would not buy the car under any circumstances yet that one person you are seeking certainly is out there and will be interested. Definitely ask high in that $8,000 neighborhood, and if no bites, then lower the price until the phone starts ringing. Good luck!

As for the performance upgrades it was stock when I got it and I made the gradual upgrades for fun since I was getting close to retirement. Both the previous owner and I are a couple of old guys so it wasn't raced around, it was just a hobby.
As you can see by the attached pictures, the high mileage doesn't show. People are amazed when they hear how much mileage it has.

With a setup like that, on a rust free WS6, I'm sure you could get the kind of cash you're looking for in my area - especially if the paint just needs a buff/correction (no peeling, body damage, or deep scratches). I guess it might be typical for a car with that kind of mileage to still look that good in the engine bay when it's spent its life in southern CA, so it might not be a big deal in your area therefore harder to sell, but something like that would be a Unicorn here in Chicago.
Just saw the most recent pics above - interior looks exceptional for the mileage (~300k). That car would sell quickly for that price in my area.
There is no rust anywhere on the car. There are just some rock chips on the front and the spoiler has some clear coat fade. I did have to replace the center console armrest for being cracked, but that's typical. The rest of the interior is original. Just cared for. Oh, and I haven't had a chance to clean the engine compartment. It's still dirty... lol
.I appreciate the comments....
