1998 Pontiac Trans Am 61,500 miles LS1 / T56 Clean Carfax
I'm entertaining the idea of purchasing a C8 and if I decide to go that route I'd most likely list the T/A since I wouldn't need two summer weekend cars. I thought I'd post here to get feedback on where I should consider pricing it if I did decide to list it. Ive owned this car for the past 13 years and it has a clean Carfax. It currently has 61,500 original miles and is equipped with the LS1/T56 drivetrain.
The car has a few modifications, but the engine has remained mostly stock over the years aside from routine maintenance and upkeep. It has been well cared for and adult owned during my time with it.
The door panels are crack free, but the dash did develop a small crack, which is shown clearly in the photos.

Looking at the completed results here is a good way to get a feel for values. A lot of super low mileage examples listed, but there are some which are more representative of what you have: Pontiac Firebird 1993-2002 For Sale - BaT Auctions
Mileage sure is right but I see some cosmetic things that will keep the price down. I personally do not like the exhaust or mods, but that's me. If others feel the same way, then the number of 'lookers' will be diminished. On the other hand, for those that like the way your car sits, they will be very interested. I'm thinking a low to mid teens price with $15,000 being top dollar. I would ask $16,000 and see if you get any calls. If not, lower the price until you hit that sweet spot. Spring/Summer sure is the right time to sell.
A C8 will be day and night different. Good luck with your sale and C8 purchase.
