So for the money do you think the 02 nbm with 235xxk miles, with cme, 12 disk changer, t-top, dilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads, along with one year left on a 0 deductable waranty for $16500 (possibly a little less),

OR

the 02 sebring silver hardtop with 17,9xxk it has traction control and the other doesnt, has subframe connectors and trailing arms, and lid for $15700 (possibly a little less)

You guys think that the one with the center mount exhaust and factory slp lid and t-tops, 12 disk, with approx one year on gm warranty would be worth more then the one with about 5k less miles, traction control, hardtop?

Which do you think is a better buy and would hold value most? Appreciate all the help.

Hmm tough call. Hardtops are more rare and the lower miles is def a plus. But then I love t-tops and CME seems to be popular.

Well I am still looking, the cme nbm car is no longer availible, however the silver one is and the other NBM. The guy with the silver one is asking $15,000 for it and is firm. The other NBM I think is availible but guys asking $15,500 for it and it has 37,500miles. Both are original owners, m6, minimal mods: SLP loud mouth 1 and a lid, and strut tower brace. Both have newer tires.

What do you guys think, think that they are good deals? It seems like the Silver one is better deal, do you think it is worth $15,000 right now?

I just sold a 1 owner 02 M6 Black hardtop with 20K mint condition for 16K. All paperwork and had a little bit of a tough time getting that.

I just bought a NBM A4 Hardtop, loaded minus disk changer with 25k miles for 7500 dollars. One owner, never wrecked, clear/clean title.

I don't believe the few differences of the SS would be worth double the price.

Shop around!

So that is very similar car as the silver one for $15,000; you think it would be a good buy at $15 or a little less?

Man I wish I could find a deal that good I have been watching now for over 8 months and there has been nothing around me that I have found going for anything close to that. Around here it seems that the 02 z28's with even like 50k are asking like $14,000 some even more. SO seeing this SS with low miles for only a little more seemed like a pretty decent deal. I know that there is not that much difference to make a SS worth almost double; I would deffinatly buy a z28 if I could find a deal like that.

How did you find yours, (craigslist autotrader etc) and where are you located at?

I never let distance determine if I will/won't buy a car.

I bought a Z28 last year, in mint condition with 16k miles on it. Found it on autotrader. I flew into Cleveland (I was at Camp Lejune, NC at the time) and drove it to Louisiana.

I got a GTO in Feb that I found in NYC. I flew from here (Kansas City, MO) to NYC and drove it back. The car had full bolt-ons including a ported FAST 90 and only 12k miles. I got it for 22k.

This newest Z28 I also found on autotrader. It's in New Hampshire, I'm still in Kansas City. I talked the dealer down to 7500 and agreed to pay 800 shipping. So I got a 8300 dollar 25k mile one owner Z28.

I'd suggest checking autotrader and where they ask for distance in the search just put "any" and see what you find. It might be worth the 7-800 dollar shipping charge to get it. You can also fly in to most places in the U.S. for 2-300 dollars, and just drive back. Remember these things are pretty good on HWY MPG.

Yea, when I check the autotrader I normally use 500 miles and occasionally look at any, but maybe I will start looking at any a little more often. The last few cars we have drove a ways to get last one was about 500 miles; so I know what you mean about going a ways for a good deal.
