light rain, you shouldn't have a problem. Heavy rain "down pour" exspecially on the highway and you could wind up like MattxFatal. Mine whipped me out too with no warning and did a 360 on the highway. Luckily no one around and I didn't hit anything. But in town you shouldn't have any more problems than what your running now as long as you use your head. Ps don't use cruise during rain. You can react alot faster using your feet cause if it does start to whip you have to turn off the cruise either the switch, by pressing the brake, or by pressing the gas. None of which you want to be conserned about if the rearend start to get away from you.

the front tires are what is going to make the difference in the rain.....I drive with skinnies and 325/15's and it is better in the rain that on the stock 245's at 4 corners. I am in FL so you know I have plenty of experience in the rain.

well then your tires were bald. my car with either size nitto 325 or 245 was awesome in the rain. when the 245's got bald it got a little sketchy.......but any bald tire is going to suck in the rain since there is no tread to move the water out from under the tire.
the 325's have really wide channels compared to the 245's so that may also contribute to the current setup being very rain friendly.

I haven't had a problem yet. Like the others said just be very careful since this cars are powerful stock. Just drive under the speed limit like you're supposed to on any tire. If you ask for if it, you'll get it.
