Grinding for 15" prostar questions

Grinding for 15" prostar questions im probably getting a set of prostars, 15x3.5 and 15x8.
i REALLY wanna set what they look like on my car before i get them though. can i get them on my car to look at without grinding the calipers first. i know i have to grind the calipers down to make the rotate but will they just go on for appearance purposes without grinding
also anyone have pics of a grinded caliper so i know where to start

Re: Grinding for 15" prostar questions I have a set of 15x8 with 26x10.5 MT ET Drags on them. They look great on the car. You will need extended wheel studs to get the prosatrs on in the back. I tried just test fitting mine before I had the extended studs and couldn't do it. If I remeber correctly once I had the extended studs on there I was able to bolt the wheel up just to see what they looked like. The grinding on the caliber sucks. I would reccomend using a small spacer and grinding than just grinding. I grinded mine and did't use a spacer and you have to take a lot off the caliber I'm even thinking about buying new ones. On the front all you have to do is run a 7/16 inch spacer and they will clear. My rear tire set up is for sale as I'm switching to run the new 17" MT slicks. I'm selling the rims, et drags(one pass on them bone stock car and I didn't do a burnout) lugs and center caps for $500 so call or e-mail me if your interested. Or if you have any questions about putting the prostars on your car.
