i say a 1" difference is fine, but the tire sidewall height is whats throwing the whole thing off imo.

Ive got plenty of performance 11's in the 1/4..ive been low 12's with the 20's on. I'm going to a new setup here before long anyways

and to some saying tires are too small that also depends on who spec'd the tires. my 19s have 27" tires on them. i have more meat on my rears then most ppl with stock 17s. ive seen 20s with a 27" tire and doesnt look that bad. looks similar to 18s. as for some say for racing, when you go racing you put your car in track mode. no body saftely drives around in track mode. hell my track wheels arent even 15s. 17x4 up front and 17x11 in rear

BTW, this car has a built tranny, 3500 stall, and 54mm turbo! The car actually still sits at its stock height. That is the way that I wanted it.

20's look good on our cars most of the time
Pretty much every car that comes out now has 20'' rims.
Every car in this thread looks damn good with 19''s and 20''s, and x2 for the post: Who can tell the difference between 19 or 20 inch rims?
17's are stock size. Why buy aftermarket rims if you're going to keep em the same size anyway?

prin, love the t types, but i can see why your partial. The 20s seem to fit fine, but keeping the stock ride height reminds me of those ghetto impalas and caprices with 28s. Maybe someone can photoshop it lowered.....

that t type is a beautiful car! now it looks like the car from "training day"
maybe its just the way the pics are taken, but any time the tire matches the top of the wheel well it doesnt look smooth imo.

The radius from the center of the wheel to the outter of the tire matches EXACTLY with the stock 15's. That was why i went for the 20's. BTW they are only for show. The only difference is that they are a little wider than my 15's. The car from Training day was a 1979 Monte Carlo and it had 13" wires (gold).

I had thought about lowering the car, but I do race it. I have a stock wheels and tires that goes on for the racing.

Never fails, every thread is drama filled...lol I must say the cars shown all look good with 20's.. Not my style, I prefer the drag look, but I can appreciate a good looking car!!
