Default 315/35/17???

i have a 1995 z28 lowered about 1 inch.. if i put the zr1's (17x11) with the 315/35/17 Goodyear gs-d3's in the back will I have any trouble.. people have told me i have to roll the fender lip and hit in the side walls... I'm looking at a set of rims right now and it says they have an offset of +50mm.. Will they fit?? thanks

They will fit, but you may need to hammer the inner fenderwells. I have 45mm offset TTIIs, which stick out a little further than 50mm ZR1s, with GS-D3's and I had some rubbing on the inner fender. It didn't require much hammering to get them not to rub.
With the wider wheel you will need to lift the car by the rear axle to avoid hitting the bumpstops. It's not recommended to remove the bumpstops. Your wheel will not contact them while driving.
With an adjustable panhard bar you may be able to center the axle and not have any issues.

Just cut down bump stop here. little to no hammering on the inner wheel wells. I have 50mm offset Zr1s. Also a adj. panhard bar is almost a must to make this go more smoothly. Car has strano springs, so its about 1 - 1.2 in. of drop. But it will be going another inch lower in spring. I used to have sportline springs in my old 1999 Z28 and that looked just about right.

Forgot to mention. Im running 335 Hoosiers

crappy cell pic but gives u an idea how the car sits

staying with the 315 question, I have been bit by the same bug. I went from drag (welds) back to my ZR1's with a "new" set of 17" MT ET street (bias) on the rear and now I think I am going to sell them before I even use them to buy some 11" wheels with 315's on them. Will these hook with some DR's? What 60 ft"? I cut 1.5 foot brake right now.

I had to mess with the bump stop some but what I did was buy some 1/4 inch spacers and because of the way the zr1's are you might have to buy some longer wheel studs. I did but I grinded a little length off they ended up being a little too long. With other rims though like the TT2's I have now you don't need longer wheel studs. I went with the spacers because I really didn't want to beat the fender well in and they don't stick out.

It's the bracket that bolts the bumper on that needs to be removed or cut down. Which involves some kind of cutting tool. I'd take pics, but car is in storage.
