Default Bottoming out lugnuts?

When running extended studs, it's possible to bottom out lugnuts, I've seen longer lugnuts on gorilla's site, almost an inch longer than regular, almost 2.5 inches total in height.

Do you guys know if these taller lugnuts have deeper threads, or are they drilled just as deep?

Honestly do not know, but most people run open ended lugs on extended studs.

Either gonna have to go open ended or figuire out how much too long your studs are and run a spacer behind the wheel if you want. I am in the same boat with my ARP studs

I just found that Gorilla makes their extended mag and cragar SST in 12mm x1.5 (f-body stud size).

Gorilla part 74138 and 94138

One is 1.9 inches tall, the other is 2.3

Looks like they should work and cover those extended studs

They also make extended wheel lock sets,

74631N
84631N

Maybe some solutions here?

FWIW,If I remember correctly NHRA only allows open lugnuts., and with those there is a minimum number of threads that need to show.
