Did you have any clearance or rubbing problems.

Are you using a spacer? Fits perfect!

Default Nitto tires

I have the Nitto nt 555g2
295/40 18 tires. The tires are on the car but it's up on a lift with the k member and engine on the ground waiting for the transmission to get done. Those are some meaty tires so I think I might have to put some 1to 1-1/2 spacers on the rear coil springs. It's also looking like I'll have to roll the quarters. It's an awful nice car and I hate to do that but I got myself into this.

this is a 10 year old post and the OP hasn't logged in in 10 years so doubt you'll get a response. that said, a 295/35/18 would've been a better size to keep closer to factory tire height, i had to roll the quarters and that is the tire size i am running (295/35/18 nitto nt05's) so you'll definitely have to with the taller 40 series tires. if you are on stock height suspension you might be fine though, i am lowered over 2" on coilovers
