Default Pics of the Painted TT2's

I had some people email me and ask me if I had any pics of the painted TT's I had done for my car. Here are some pics I made before I cut a turn and a half off the springs, I'll make some new ones if I ever get the trans put back in!

Thanks, I had a guy in town that does custom bikes to paint them. He charged me $300.00. They are base coat/clear coat with metallic flake in them. It took him a while to do it since the wheels were polished originally and there was alot of prep work to get the paint to stick. They have been done for about 8 months now and they still look new.

What about powder coating the wheels. Can you do that on aluminum??

Yes, You can powder coat. If I had it to do over again, that is the route I'd take. I kinda rushed into the whole painting thing and later found out that there is a place about an hour away from me that would have powder coated the wheels for half the price of painting them.

I've found a place near me that'll do all 4 wheels(spokes only) for $75. Is that REALLY CHEAP or is that about the going rate??

Wow, $75 for all 4 wheels?
It's usually $75 per wheel for powdercoating... the whole wheel though.
