I need help with tire sizes!! I need to buy a set of new tires. Does anyone have this comb street tires? 265/40/17 front. 285/40/17 rear. If so which brand tires and who do they stick at the track? I'm also on a bugdet so price is an issue 
. any ones 2 cent are welcome. I could also go 275/40/17 all around.

Re: I need help with tire sizes!! Do not put different diameter tires on a f-body. The 265's will be too short and the 285's will be too tall. The ABS on the f-body is not designed to compute for differnt tire sizes.
275/40ZR17 is the stock SS and WS6 tire size.

Re: I need help with tire sizes!! i had those sizes on my '94, never had an abs problem... they r 25.3" and and 26" tall, which isn't a big enough difference, less than 3%... i had the front lowered 1.5" so the shorter size looked good, i liked the 'raked' look... check out the tirerack and discount for prices, look to the right for the links... oh yeah, what size wheels do u have? i had 8.5's and 9.5's and that was the narrowest i'd use for those sizes...
