need sticky tires
So what would be a very good sticky tire to use, it is going on a 02 z06 i want decent handling. And i also want it to hook like no other. The car is putting down 500 rwhp. And this is what a set of bfg g forces did for me, the car lost traction at 50 in fourth gear, just a little bump on the throttle, it was cold, like 30 out but the streets were clear and dry. Here's how that ended up.

DOT road racing tires, or Drag Radials. These are what you need for 500 RWHP, regardless if it is for daily driving, but they won't like the cold weather, either.
Nittos, Kumhos, Michelins, Mickey Thompsons, or Toyos. They all make nice, wide, sticky 18s.

From what I gather...
The Nittos, RRIIs or DRs, will allow excellent street traction with reasonable daily driving capabilities, and probably last the longest of these choices.
Michelin Pilot Sport Cups will most likely have the best traction for a DOT road racing tire, but may not last very long-- and are expensive.
The Mickey Thompson DRs will most likely have the best traction for a daily driveable Drag Radial, plus an excellent choice for serious drag racing.
The Kumhos and Toyos probably fall somewhere in between, with good traction but limited lifespan.
Of course, you will want to be cautious in the rain and avoid a heavy pedal in colder weather.
