Default 305's on 18's

Hey guys, im looking for some pics of 305 series tires on 18 x 10.5" wide wheels. I tried a search and looked through the wheel gallery in the sticky, but came up empty handed. I think this would be a good compromise between a 295 and a 315. Ive just never actually seen it before, lol. Thanks

They look good, but I'm debating with myself if I want to sell my 18x10.5s and downgrade to a 17 inch drag radial (I know the 18s are hurting me, but nobody has given me an indicator on how much). Also consider, Nitto 555Rs for a 315 wide tire on a 17 inch rim is in the $170 range.

For a 305/35/R18... its $296.00

These pics don't really do them justice, but meh...

If only they made Z06 rims in a 17x11....

if youre looking at a 305 nitto dr you might as well go 315. a 275 bfg is only slightly smaller than a 315 nitto.

Except nitto doesn't have a 315 tire listed as something they make for an 18 inch wheel.

(It would definitely fit, it just wouldnt be a nitto 18 inch tire).

Thanks man that looks good, i think ive made my choice. Those look pretty meaty, they are 26" in diameter correct? No recal. of the speedo was needed and abs still works? It might just be the pic, but did the tires make the rear end sit a little higher?

Thanks, those look great. Im still curious though, these tires (nittos/mt's) are advertised as a 26.something" tall tire. But ive heard its actually closer to 27", anybody have problems with theyre abs or the speedo being off?

Here are mine. But if I were you I would get BFG 315/30/18 around $30 more and you got much better traction IMO, they're not as good as nittos in the rain but you shouldn't drive any DR in the rain.

Thanks, thats the best pic so far! I was thinking bout the bfg's, but wont the 315 have a little too much bulge on my 10.5" wheel?

I've seen one with BFG 315's I can't remember the members name I think it's SINISTER but not sure. They didn't look like they bulged at all.

Well the thing is that people say the BFG's don't last really long that's why I didn't get them. I've had my nitto's for about 5,XXX miles so far and they still hook REALLY good. They still hook with no spin from time to time. Since you just have a bolt on car the traction level of the 555r's is enough. I was dead hooking with my bolt on car. I'll post some pics up tomorrow.

If your looking for a wider tire, a 305 nitto drag is still gonna fit your 10.5 flush to the wheel. No wider than a 285/295 street tire. Nitto drags always run alot more narrower than your average srteet tire. The m/t drags are awesome but for some reason when you mount them on the rim, the lip is exposed way too much. I personally think it looks like ****. Your best bet IMO is gonna be the 315/18 bfg drag tire. It's gonna hug the rim just perfectly and also have a wide *** stance from behind. And I guess you can also think of it as lip protector. lol! Just incase you get too friendly with a curb.

Thanks again guys. I just found this thread;
https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...30-18s-dr.html
and i like how the tires sit on the wheels, but im not sure on the width of those stock z06wheels. I was also thinking of the bfg dr's, itd be nice if i can find pics of those on an 18x10.5" wheel. Also, im sure it can be done but it says the minimum rim width for a 315/30/18 is 11".
Then i see this pic of Ben's 295's...

Damn it!!! lol, decisions decisions...
