Default 19" Staggered Wheel Pics.

OK well I was going to buy a brake kit but now I'm leaning towards buying new wheels and selling my Corvette Wheels. I had a BMW E36 before it got stolen and it had some staggered wheels and I loved em. Does anybody else like staggered? I really want Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's but they are impossible to get a hold of. Post some pics please!!! One member had TSW Volcanoes and I liked them but I'm holdin out. PICS

thanks. I miss the wheels BAD and the car at times. But def. would need to be 11's in the back to keep me happy. the 285 and only 9.5in wheel wasnt cuttn it for me. I would like to find a used set and have the rears widened to 11s and run 325 or 345s but 19in tires are so expensive and nothn that is sticky.

I went with Ruff 278s in 19x8.5 (+35) and 19x9.5 (+45).
The tires are KDW2s, 255mm in the front and 295mm in the rear.
In these pictures the car is at the stock height so I have major wheel gap.

The fenders needed to be rolled ...

I wanted something wider than 9.5" in the back but not many 19s run fatter than that.
Also, this car is my DD and 19" tires are expensive.

OK, I like the TTM's and they would give a better ride, b/c they would be only 17" or 18". But I also like the TSW Indy 500:

http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_indy_500.php

And I also found the TSW Snetterton, but I think of these as kinda of a tuner or euro car wheel, I had something similar on my BMW and I loved them but I don't think they would look good on an F-Body.

So tell me what you guys think. The TSW wheels would be 19" and give a "harsher" ride. But I'm used to the low profiles. Either the "luxury" TSW wheels or the "muscle" TTW wheels?

Hey JJ. Your old wheels, you said they were for a BMW.? So the lug pattern is the same for a BMW as a F-body. What back spacing did you get, or did you have the wheels from your BMW and just tryed to fit them on the camaro and it worked?

Found on here that they will fit. The bolt pattern is off by like .003 of a millimeter or something. Which is basically nothing. Some feel it is dumb to run them, others think otherwise. There are alot post explaining all of this. I drag raced my car, auto X it, took it on trips and never had any issues. As for the offset, I dont remember, but they were borderline to fitting. They were right on the end of the wheelwell. Something like 38mm I think. But would be perfect if u were to ever widen the wheel, cause adding a few inches on the inside would be perfect to make 11s, or 12 and run some wide tires like I planned on doing but sold the car.

Damn JJ, that looked sweet as hell. I was looking at those wheels, but im liking the RPM 505's in black alot more. How was it overall, having 19's??? Biggest ive had is the stock 17's on the car right now. I dont really like that there also gonna be x9.5's in the rears. I really love that x10.5 or 11's look out back but i also dont really wanna run the same style wheels as everyone else "zr1's, tt2's, ttm's, c5zo6's & etc.".
