Problems with Goodyear!
I know alot of things should have been done. The shop doesn't like Goodyear. It stopped moving but the balance won't stay at all. The new tire is suppose to be here today and I am going to a Goodyear shop to have it mounted up so hopefully no more issues. I got tired of dealing with going to the other place every 3 days or so. I lost 20 hours of pay at work over it.

I understand your frustrations....But, you skipped over my initial question. Did you have another tire previously on this wheel? If so, was it OK?

When you get the new tire, and if it slips on the wheel, then have them switch the tires and wheels. They should know this and should have already done this anyway. Mark the wheels so they don't get confused.
I'm a wheel manufacturer by the way. OE Concepts. Not likely to have a wheel out of spec like that.

These are stock GM SLP wheels that are 9 years old with no prior problems. I don't think they know how to use the road force machines at the places I went. It is only one tire that has moved and it did not continue to move but it won't stay balanced. I ended up with 8 ozs of weights. I don't think they know what they are doing. Nice machine aren't any good if you don't know how to use them.

****5/9/09 Update New tire installed Thanks to Discount Tire Direct and Matt- Came out only needed 2.5 ozs instead of 6 ozs like the old tire. The tire did not move on the wheel like the old tire- vibration is alot better than it was****
