Default NT05 vs GS D3

Which tire is going to have more traction? I know the NT05's are more for cornering then straight line but will they still have more traction then the GS D3's? Or would it be safe to mix and match something like the NT 05's up front and the M/T drag radials in the back? I just don't want to spend the money on the gs d3's. Sizes would be 275's up front and 315's in the back.

The GSD3 is considered one of the best All Around tires, along with the Michelin PS2s. They will give you very good performance in the summer as well as the winter. I think the GSD3 is the top performer for rain though.

The NT05, is a competition tire, like a drag radial or an auto X tire but with some features that make it more of a street tire.

So I think the NT05 will have better traction than the GSD3

The NT05 has done excellent in regards to dry surface traction, straight line or otherwise. Very respectable in the rain also. Do a search for them and read the reviews..

This is cosidered more of a extreme street tire IMO

They are what I am going to buy then because the gs d3's are just way to expensive for something I only drive a couple thousand miles a year on. I don't even bother with the car in the rain so these should do just fine. Thanks for the advice guys.
