I had VW tires they will not last long at all. They are designed for a 1800lb vehicle with a top speed of 65mph. Something I will never do again. I don't know why your Sportsmans wore out so quick. The ones on my BBC car are on their third summer and still look brand new.

I have heard the same thing about the khumos. They wear out quick. Maybe something was wrong with the pressure in your m/ts?

Might have been the 4-ply vs. the 8 ply. The 4 ply are made for lightweight drag cars and rail cars. the 8 ply is for a 3500 lb car!
