Default Sand blasting Wheels?

is their a certain amount of PSI that i need to remove the chrome off of my wheels. Or any sand blaster will do. I just want to spray paint them black with the Duplicolor kit on wheels.

good quality chrome is not fun to remove via media blasting. You'll need an aggressive media at a decent PSI, but it also needs to be done by someone that knows what they are doing. sitting there holding the gun at one part until the chrome is removed will probably put enough heat in the wheel to damage it.

I refuse to remove chrome in my blast cabinet, don't have the time or patience for it.

Ive heard prices from 200 to 400 bucks. Good thing my buddy just opened his own shop and did for a quarter the price!
