Default Longer stud question

I'm looking at the arp studs, the 2.5" length ones. It says they are 1" longer than stock ones? I should be able to use my current lug nuts then correct? They are only on by a few threads now. The wheels are 17x9.5 c5 z06 knockoffs. Is 1" more adequate?

Oh yeah, second question. I won't damage anything by hammering all 20 studs out correct?

The fronts just pop out. A steel punch may make it easier. I'm not sure the backs are as easy. I've never done those, but it looks like you may have to remove the axles.

the rears just knock out the same as the fronts. You won't damage anything by knocking out all 20. You will have to rotate the rotors to be able to knock each one out

Yep that is where I was looking at them. Guess I am looking for a opinion though, is 1" longer a lot better than how I am now? Like I said the nuts might be grabbing like 3 or 4 threads at the moment.

Well thanks everyone so far for the replies.

The length is good if you ever need to run spacers, but i think the biggest benefit is the material they are made out of.

I just recently installed the 070-100-7708 on the rear of my car. Just popped out the axles, knocked out the old ones, and installed the new ones. Didnt take very long at all, and was really easy.
