Default Will these rims fit?

found these on ebay, i'm not sure the offset is correct for a f-body.
5 x 4.75 bolt pattern. They also have a 6.25" back spacing. They are 17" x 8"
they are smoothies II.
also, whats the biggest tire for a 8" rim, a 265?
thanks,
justin

I don't have my book here at home so I can't answer the back spacing but the safe width of the tire is determined by the rim width vs. the tire width combined with it's aspect ratio. I'm thinking a 255 is the starting point for aspect ratios of 50% and above on an 8" rim. Again, I don't have any reference in front of me but that's what I'm remembering.
