Default Snow Tires

I am looking at buying Snow tires, my Firehawk is a daily driver.
If I am using 17x9 Rims with 275/40ZR17 tires will a set of snow tires 255/40VR17 fit ok. There are no sonow tires that match my exact current tire size, and I know with my 94 Z28 I went from A 245/45Z16 street tire to a 235/50HR16 snow tire without any problems.

You are better off going with a much skinnier tire for the winter. Grab some used 16x8 rims and put some 225-55-16 snow tires on them. I just did that myself.

There are TONS of available snow tires in that size too. The money you save on the cost of the tires will pay for the rims. 17" snow tires are very expensive.
