Default Fixing curb rash?

i have 1 17X11 black chrome wheel that has a little bit of curb rash and id like to get it fixed. i was wondering if i should just send it off or try to do something myself since its black chrome finish i figured i probably couldnt do too much myself.

thanks

If it was painted or just polished aluminum you could sand it down then repaint/polish. Won't work too well with chrome.

you think this will work and just polish it? at least it will be alot less noticeable right?

has anyone done this to a chrome wheel and have pics or details on what sanding methods and grit paper they used?

thats what i would try.. it may look a TAD bit more dull than the rest of the rim.. but at least there wont be big scrapes and black marks on it.. curb rash is very noticeably..
